Bonjour BxLUG,

[Pardon mon français, je répéterai tout en anglais après français]

Je suis nouveau à Bruxelles et j'ai besoin de l'aide.  Je suis venu à
Bruxelles parce que je lutte contre le Directive du Brevets Logiciels et les
autres directives qui endommager le Logiciel Libre[0], mais je dois trouver
un job.

Puisque je suis un utilisateur et partisan de GNU/Linux, j'ai pensé que je
devrais demander le LUG local pour l'aide.  J'habite provisoirement à
Schuman, mais je pourrais aller ailleurs.  Je travaillerai temporaire ou
permanent, à temps partiel ou à plein temps, et l'argent n'est pas très
important.  Je seulement ai besoin de paye loyer, mange de la nourriture,
etc.

J'ai travaillé comme programmeur et administrateur pour quatre ans - surtout
avec GNU/Linux, mais j'ai assez connaissance du MS Windows, *BSD, Hurd, etc.

Mon français est ok: j'ai écrit ce courriel sans aide (sauf un
dictionnaire).  Je espère vraiment que il n'est pas le charabia :-) Je
comprends français mieux que j'écris, et depuis je suis arrivé à Bruxelles,
j'apprends très vite.

Peut quelqu'un me dire où je peux trouver un job ici? Ou où je devrais
regarder?  Peut être il y a un job fournir support en anglais, mais où?  Ou
peux je travaillerais comme un administrateur en dépit de je ne parle pas le
français couramment (pas encore)?

(monster.be, stepstone.be, etc. sont inutile)

Since I am a user and a support of GNU/Linux, I thought I should ask the
local LUG for help.  I'm living in Schuman temporarily but I can move
somewhere else.  I'll work temporary or permanent, part-time or full-time,
and the money isn't too important.  I just need to pay rent, eat food, etc.

I've worked as a programmer and administrator for four years - mostly with
GNU/Linux, but I know enough MS Windows, *BSD, Hurd, etc.

My french is ok: I wrote this mail without help (except a dictionary).  I
hope it's not gibberish :-)  I understand french better than I write, and
since I came to Brussels, I'm learning very fast.

Can anyone tell me where I might find a job?  Or where I should look?  Maybe
there are jobs providing english technical support, but where?  Or could I
work as an administrator despite not speaking fluent french (not yet
anyway)?

(monster.be, stepstone.be, etc. are useless)
