[Linux-bruxelles] 8GB File Limit

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to record raw video through my TV card, however it seems that
my filesystem - reiserfs - has a limit of 8GB (the avi file stops
there). 

How can I make the maximum file size larger?
What are the limits of other filesystems?

I've that XFS is better for large files, but then I'll have to
recompile, and I'm in a hurry.
