[EN] The young geeky fine-artists collective from
Rotterdam, moddr_
<http://moddr.net/>, is invited by iMAL for a
"carte blanche" to present
an exhibition of their latest artworks (e.g. Web2.0
Suicide Machine) and
their subversive critical practices of the "new
media" and "digital
culture" with an associated programme of
performances, lectures and
workshops.

The *workshop* /"Social Media Interventionist
Tactics"/ will take place
on the opening Saturday 13 November, from 17:00 to
20:00 (register by
email). It will be followed by a /"Soundwwwalk"/
*performance* in the
evening.

[EN] Wielding soldering irons over a ramshackle
overhead projector,
Tristan Perich, Kunal Gupta and Katie Shima wire up
live musical
circuits. Punctuated silence occupies the first few
minutes of their set
while the initial circuit is wired up on an antique
overhead projector.
The resulting explosive sound is dense and grows as
more microchips are
added.

*Mini-Workshop*: before the concert, from 19:00 to
20:30, Tristan and
Kunal will give a mini-workshop about circuit
soldering and programming.

[FR] /Avec des fers à souder qu'ils utilisent sur
un vieux
rétro-projecteur, Tristan Perich, Kunal Gupta et
Katie Shima
construisent live des circuits musicaux. Les
premières minutes de leur
performances durant la naissance du circuit sont
ponctuées de silences,
puis au fur et à mesure de l'ajout de nouveaux
micro-circuits, le son
devient de plus en plus dense et explosif.
