adminstrations.

Nicolas

 Mission

The mission of the FedLUG is to create a free and open forum on a
private/personal basis to discuss and foster the use of Free/Libre and
Open Source Software (FLOSS), with members mainly coming from the
Belgian federal public services.
Next meeting Friday 30 March 2007

The next IRL (In Real Life) meeting is a lunch meeting (at noon) on
Friday 30 March 2007 in Brussels. Everyone that wants to join the
founding members or is just generally interested is welcome. More
details to follow (location probably near one of the central Metro
stations).
Call to action: join the founding members

The next step is to enlarge the group of founding members. The
current proposal is to accept subscriptions for additional founding
members until 30 March 2007. So, if you wish to join and subscribe the
Foundation document send an e-mail to "foundation AT fedlug DOT be".
This e-mail address is also the main (private) contact address for
now, next to the public mailing list.

 Une version française est disponible.

 Een Nederlandse versie is beschikbaar.
 Mailing list and other tools

There is a mailing list (subscription required) at "fedlug AT fedlug
DOT be". To subscribe, send an e-mail to "fedlug-subscribe AT fedlug
DOT be" and wait for the response on which you have to reply again to
confirm the validity of your e-mail address. We have seen occasional
cases where the first mail bounces ... please try again a second time
a little later, that has always helped up to now. We are working to
resolve this problem. The archives are visible (with a delay of up to
24 hours) at http://www.fedlug.be/archieven/fedlug/. If all else
fails, send an e-mail to "fedlug-owner AT fedlug DOT be". Other tools
that will be set-up are a wiki [not yet available] and of course this
web site.
 History
 28 Feb 2007

On 28 Feb 2007, version 0.90 of the Foundation document was published
in the English language after review, with French and Dutch
translations underway.
 24 Feb 2007

At our first IRL meeting on 24 Feb 2007 at fosdem 2007, we discussed
a proposal for a Foundation document and practical working ideas. A
report is posted on the mailing list.
