[Linux-bruxelles] pas de son malgré carte son reconnue

salut,

je viens d'installer Debian 3.1 r3 sur un Dell Latitude C610
et lorsque j'ai essayé de lancer un MP3 avec XMMS,
il me dit de vérifier si ma carte est bien configurée malgré
qu'en tapant lspci j'ai eu la reconnaissance de la carte son :

impossible de lever le niveau du son sur le contrôleur de son,

il me dit :  Sorry, no mixer elements and/or devices found



je n'y comprends pas grand chose !
