There is a problem with Debian Sarge: the last version of "udev" 
(0.07..) de-install "hotplug" so that no mouse is detected on PS2 interface.
In this case it is possible to chose the "udev" from the "stable" 
version (ver: 0.056-3): that's what I've done and every thing is working 
properly.
