For all the people who are coming to Freeedem, this may be interesting
as the schooltool project will be presented and also discussed in a special
sprint where the application will used by the end user (directors, teachers ...)

THis will last 3 days.

Poru toutes les personnes qui viennent aux freeedem, ceci peut être intéressant. L'application schooltool
est un logiciel de gestion d'établissement scolaire qui sera présenté et discuté en
grand détail au freeedem. Il envisage notamment de permettre la gestio ncomlète d'une école.

Il sera aussi discuté avec les enseignants, directeurs d'école et autres qui le souhaitent, et 
sera développé lors d'un sprint de 3 jours.

Bienvenue au freeedem à bruxelles les 21 et 22 février prochains http://freeedem.org

SchoolTool Milestone 4 is released:

  http://schooltool.org/releases/m4


There is a source archive, a MS Windows binary and a Debian binary 
package, and also a line that you can add to your Debian sources.list.

As usual, we welcome feedback either in the issue tracker[1] or on the 
schooltool mailing list.[2]


This milestone release contains all of the functionality described in 
the original proposal.[3]

New features since Milestone 3 include:

* Calendaring

* Bookable resources, including basic "busy searching"

* Authentication

There are desciptions and screenshots of this new functionalty on the 
Milestone 4 page. See also, the user-guide for the GUI client:

Many thanks to the people who tried out the pre-release package of this 
milestone.
