Si tu utilises X, il faut modifier XF86Config-4 (dans /etc/X11/ sous
Debian). Voici le mien, que j'utilise avec XFree 4.1:

Section "ServerLayout"
  Identifier "XFree86 Configured"
  Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0
  Screen 1 "Screen1" RightOf "Screen0"
  InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer"
  InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
EndSection

Section "Files"
  RgbPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb"
  ModulePath "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules"
  FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/"
  FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/"
  FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/"
  FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/"
  FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/"
  FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/"
EndSection

Section "Module"

EndSection

  Driver "keyboard"
EndSection

Section "InputDevice"
  Identifier "Mouse0"
  Driver "mouse"
  Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
  Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"

  Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"

    Modes "1280x960" "1152x864" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
  EndSubSection
  SubSection "Display"
    Depth 24
  EndSubSection
EndSection

Section "DRI"
  Group 0
EndSection

Je crois que c'est tout. On a eu du mal avec Window Maker au début
(bugs), mais après quelques temps, ça a tourné. KDE n'a jamais posé de
problème.
