Il s'agit manifestement d'un probléme de droit d'accés !!!
A tu modifié les droits d'accés sur ce fichier (600) , le owner du 
fichier (par défaut fax), le owner du démon hfaxd ?
Ce cas de figure est d'ailleurs expliqué dans le howto hylafax
