Comme je n'étais pas sûr d'avoir bien interprété ce texte, je l'ai
posté sur patents at liberte.aful.org pour être bien sûr de
l'interprétation. Il s'agissait en fait d'un texte concernant le
copyright et non pas les brevets.

it does make DeCSS illegal (it was legal).

which means that owners of content may decide which platform can access
the content.
   This is anti-competitive ... and there is not even the resource of
compulsory licensing as with patents.

  In effect, this new regulation is more like patenting than like
copyright, since it forbids any unauthorized use of a given
technology, and there is not even an obligation (as in patents) to
make that technology public.

Bon, voilà, il semblerait bien que L'E.U tient pour négligeable notre
droit à pouvoir visionner légalement des Dvd sous Linux et ce au
profit des maisons de production...De plus la manière est pour le
moins sournoise alors que se tient un débat d'ampleur européen sur les
brevets.

Je ne sais pas ce qu'il est possible de faire contre cela...

N'hésiter pas à forwarder ce mail ou des passages à ceux qui sont
concernés...

Est-ce qu'il y a toujours une réunion Ecolo prévu pour cela (le 26 demain?).
Quelqu'un y est-il abonné et peut reposter ceci sur la M-L d'Ecolo?
